Age Restrictions on Operation or Control of Pleasure Craft
1. A person who has not attained 16 years shall not operate a ‘fast pleasure craft’ i.e. any craft which can attain a speed equal to or exceeding 17 knots.
2. A person who has not attained 12 years shall not operate or control any craft with an engine rating exceeding 5 horse power or 3.7 kilowatts.
It has been agreed by the committee that junior members over 12 years must receive training and be signed off by a club powerboat instructor before using the club watercraft. Parents please contact Patrick on 0863879654 to arrange training.
