SHANNON ESTUARY – FOYNES ISLAND TO AUGHINISH JETTY
Survey at Foynes Island and Aughinish Jetty – Thursday 20th and Friday 21st April 2023.

SFPC have been advised that further survey works will take place on Thursday 20th and Friday 21st April. Outline plan is to conduct multibeam surveying at Foynes Island on Thursday 20th with current measurements taking place at Aughinish Jetty on Friday 21st. All works weather dependant.
The survey works will consist of multibeam depth profiling and current metering. Survey Vessel details as follows: Vessel Name: Betty Frank, Callsign: EI-XI-7, Skipper: Mr Brendan Curtin, Contact No: 087-9378761. The Betty Frank will maintain a listening watch on VHF CH11 during the conduct of operations. Vessel will mobilse from Foynes on a daily basis. Operations will extend from approx 0600-1900 daily.
