A huge well done to Ken Cunnane and his crew aboard Mynx (TBSC) who recently took part in the Rolex Fastnet Race – one of the most prestigious offshore races in the world. The boat was crewed by family and friends, including Foynes Yacht Club’s own Derek Dillon. Fantastic achievement by all involved!
Ken, a native of Foynes, has strong ties with Foynes Yacht Club, his late father, Patrick Cunnane, was a Trustee of the club until his passing in recent years. It’s wonderful to see that connection continue, and we’re especially proud to see our member Derek Dillon crewing in such a renowned event.
