We couldn’t have asked for a better day to welcome our new Commodore, John Paul Buckley. We were blessed with a beautiful sunny day and just enough wind to get out racing.
It was great to see our young Oppie sailors showing their skills racing, thanks to Cathal and Dylan for all their work in bringing them to this stage. We also had our Omegas, Mermaids, and Cruisers racing. Great activity on the water!!
The Cruisers raced around the Island for the O’Brien Cup. Congratulations to IRC winner, Ronan Keane and Crew on Relativity, and White Sails winner, James McCormack and Crew on Alpara.
Congratulations also to Mermaid winner, Oisin Finucane and Crew on 165 Seafox, Topaz Omega winner, Killian and Euan Reidy, and Oppie winners; 1st Kate O’Regan, 2nd Julie Shanahan, and 3rd James Keane.
