That’s a wrap for our 2021 season!
Our season came to an abrupt and early end this year after Jasper ended up breaking our mooring at the Nationals in Sligo and landing on the rocks. It was a completely freak accident that was the result of bad weather conditions but sadly sometimes these things happen. We were lucky to have so many locals from Sligo as well as our own parents and friends to help get Jasper off the rocks in relatively safe condition. It was disappointing that we had to miss the last two J24 events of the season but the main thing is that Jasper is now on the mend and will hopefully be ready for the 2022 season.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has helped us throughout the year. Parents, friends and club members have gone out of their way again and again to make sure we can train and get to events. A special thanks has to go to our two Coaches; Mark McCormack and Michael Lynch, the lads have been amazing and have helped us improve so much this year. Another massive thank you Murphy International Limited our main sponsors for 2021 and to all our other sponsors, our team wouldn’t be able to compete and travel without their support.
Hopefully we will see you all on the water in 2022!!
