Congratulations from all at Foynes Yacht Club to – Headcase – Cillian, Sam, Louis, Marcus, and Ryan – on winning the J24 World Championship in Plymouth, UK in September.
The championship ran over 5 days with 50 boats from across the globe competing. We’re especially proud that nine of those boats came from Ireland. A special mention also to David Bailey and Crew on Hard on Port, who secured an impressive 7th place, finishing in the top ten.
All our Irish teams did us proud, and we’re absolutely thrilled for Headcase. Having sailed many times in Foynes, it’s fantastic to see their commitment and hard work over the years rewarded with such an incredible achievement.
