Sunday was the final day of the SRL Frostbite Open Dinghy Series, and what an enjoyable day it was both on and off the water! There was a real festive spirit around with everyone dressing up in one way or another in Christmas attire and prizes galore!!
Thanks to all competitors, safety boats, marking laying boats, and the ladies busy in the kitchen, having hot soup, rolls, mince pies, teas, coffees, and hot chocolate, ready for the cold and hungry sailors.
Thanks also to Mary McCormack, Dinghy Class Captain, for organising the Series and for encouraging so many boats to take part. It’s great to see things getting back to normal after covid.
A massive thank you to Bev Lowes of SRL for sponsoring the series, without sponsors like Bev these events wouldn’t happen.
