What a beautiful day for our Sunday Cruise to Bunratty, taking in all the local sights from the water that we usually see from the roadside i.e., Rusal, Beeves Lighthouse, Ballysteen Pier, Ringmoylan Pier, Beagh Castle, Shannon Airport and Bunratty Castle. We encountered kayakers, speed boats, rowing boats, sailing boats, jet skis and swimmers and the odd ship on the way. While navigating the approaches to Bunratty we encountered ESB cables that stopped us from going any further but what a sight to see from the water, Bunratty Castle! A lovely way to spend your afternoon in glorious sunshine.
Our way back was taken up listening to the Limerick v Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship on the radio, what a match, what a team! Limerick winning was the icing on the cake! Luimneach Abu!!
