Last Friday saw our Commodore of five years, James McCormack, stepping down. We are grateful to James for all his hard work and leadership over the last five very productive years and for getting Foynes Yacht Club’s name out there not only nationally but worldwide. We would like to congratulate James on a job well done and wish him well in the future and look forward to seeing him spend more time on the water, doing what he loves best … sailing!! James will now take up his new role as Rear Commodore.
