Bookings for our Sailing Academy are now open. Bookings will be taken through email only. In your email please state the week you would like to book and who you wish to book for.
Our Sailing Academy is an Irish Sailing recognised Sailing School, which is suitable for children aged 8-16 years. We run from 10am-5pm every day, with an hour lunch break from 1pm-2pm. Our courses are suitable for children of all sailing levels. Course costs are as follows:
Club Members: €180 / Non-Members: €200. If there is more than one child attending from the same family a discount of €10 applies per child. This is only offered to families and does not apply to friends booking together.
This year we have added a second type of course “Estuary Otters” which will run along side our sailing courses during weeks 3, 4, and 5. These courses are suitable for children aged 7-10 years. During these courses we will be carrying out lots of activities including sailing, kayaking, swimming, paddling, as well as some water safety and learning about the Shannon Estuary. This course will focus more on getting the children used to being around the water and eliminating any fear that they may have. This course will run from 10am-2pm everyday with a 20 minute break from 12pm-12:20pm. This course costs €100 for the week and same family discount applies.

Please note that we receive a high volume of emails so please do not panic if your email is not responded to immediately. Mary will get back to you in order of when you sent your email. Also please note that weeks 1 and 5 are four day weeks due to sailing events taking place at the club. These weeks will run at a reduced rate of €145 for Club Members and €160 for Non Members.
