Sunday was the last day of our SRL Frostbite Open Dinghy Series!! A bit breezy at times with a few going for a dip, but overall a great day’s racing! Being the season that was in it, there was a prize for the best Christmas Outfit. This brought great excitement with everybody getting into the spirit of Christmas, and the winners were – the Joyce family – well deserved!!
Thanks to OODs: Donal McCormack and Raymond McGibney, our Mark Layers, Safety Crew, Shore Crew, and the ladies who provided the much welcomed soup and rolls every Sunday. A huge thank you to Mary McCormack, Class Captain, who organised a great event and got our Dinghy fleet back on the water after a two year break!! A massive thank you also to Bev Lowes of Silver Refrigeration Ltd for sponsoring the event, and thanks to our travelling boats from Killaloe who always support this event.
